4.0 out of 5 stars Slow Start But Worth The Money, 31 May 2000
By H. Callaghan "Alice in Wonderland" (London, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
With a veritable multitude of writer's research aids being written almost exclusively for the American market, it was good to see this foray into British police procedure.

Though the history of the police force gives the book a slow start, the actual description of procedural, especially violent crime, was both fascinating and lucid. The best book of its kind I have so far been able to find.
