From the Author
Alanna Lynott and Solange Berchemin are two writers who currently specialise in journalism, particularly on the web. Like any self-respecting journalist, they both have half-finished novels in their desk drawers for which they hope to find a publisher (if they ever finish them!). They know how challenging it is to earn a living from writing, which gives them a tremendous respect for those who do so at the highest level - such as the authors interviewed here. As Alanna puts it, "I am exactly the type of person the book is aimed at - I am halfway through a novel of my own and fall prey to all those doubts and mistakes any other writer does. Because of this I could ask the right questions."
Knowing what it can be like to want to write for a living, they took on the challenge of interviewing some most established authors alive today and asked them questions many fans and would-be-writers would like to know.
