4.0 out of 5 stars Does self-published have to mean self-edited? 17 Jan 2013
By Hei Long - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
This book looks very interesting. I clicked on the "look inside" option and was intrigued by the chapter (?) titles. Then I read the first page of the book that is offered for review and noticed something. Ms. Kaelin isn't well versed in grammar. Well, she doesn't understand the proper use of the comma. That much is obvious.

I guess that I am old school enough to expect someone who wants to be a writer to learn the "tools of the trade". It is distracting to me to read a book or article that shows no skill in the proper use of the language. If you are not good at grammar, then find someone who is and ask them to edit your work.

This happens in print books as well. And many reviewers on Amazon mention it. I would like to know why so many "authors" seem to feel that it is unnecessary to care about this? I know that the world is changing and I'm getting older. I've heard the argument that "I just want to get the information out there! I don't have time to worry about grammar". Really? You wrote a book. Who should take the time to worry about grammar?

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book on freelance copywriting...ever. 11 July 2011
By Jame W Brown - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've been freelancing for about four years now. I admit it...I'm an information junkie. Overall I have about 10 books on freelance copywriting and how to market yourself as a freelance copywriter.

Sorry all you "A' list copywriters who make millions each year. Angela's ebook blows yours out of the water. I am amazed on the amount of information and the resources listed. This book is not 500 pages plus but that's the sort of information you get...jam packed in an easy reading format.

Do yourself a favour...even if you are one of those lucky enough to have hit the $100,000 a year mark-buy this ebook. I promise you won't regret it. I got it on the summer sale for $2.99. The true value? I would have bought it at $37.00 and still thought I got a bargain.

p.s. Amazon's system shows me as Jame in this review "preview" I hope when it's live..my real name comes up :)
