    Product Description

Remember the tales you used to imagine as a child?
The dark places you used to go in your mind, never sure where the boundaries were between that and reality.

John Notre is a writer who was once successful, but now struggles to even start his next novel, trapped by the triumph of his first work.

Under pressure from his publisher, he starts to raid the dregs of his idea pile, delving into his past to discover a gem of an idea he can turn into the second book. Obsessed with finding something, he tries to evolve ideas that perhaps were best left buried...

Writer is an exploration of the fine line between genius and complete madness, the blurring of reality and fiction.

3.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read 12 May 2011
    Format:Kindle Edition
Ok read, could have been a bit longer, but the plot fitted the length ok. It gets a bit confusing when you are trying to work out the reality from the fantasy, but the change in text helps (although not always.) Not sure about the ending, but then again it fits with the uneasy setting of the book.
