Since setting up Bound Biographies in 1991, author MICHAEL OKE has personally assisted with the writing of over 150 private autobiographies. Michael lectures extensively, nationally and internationally, on the subject, runs workshops and appears regularly in the media.

Writing life stories is enjoying enormous popularity and anyone about to venture into this exciting world can do no better than have Michael Oke (and Cherry Gilchrist) at their right hand. The 'why' and the 'how' are clearly explained and every encouragement given for those times when we all wonder 'what is the point' or when we retreat into excuses like 'I do not have time - at the moment'. In a series of books that gently guide beginner and more advanced writer alike, Michael Oke has over the years helped to make the challenge of writing down our histories much more achievable. His experience writing and teaching speak for themselves. Anyone wanting help along the way will benefit from his guidance; be sure though not to go on putting it off till you do have time . . . it may be that as the song said, 'It's later than you think'.
