This book was good as far as it went. I was naive enough to think that the 'nuts and bolts' of publishing would also be there. They are not.
Am still in the dark as far as uploading, downloading a PDF document securely and automatically on a website and the different accounts that can be used, with their pros and cons.
The book was, nevertheless, well laid out and had some good and relevant points to make about the art of writing but even then too much space was used on stating the obvious.
This book is, in my opinion, fairly typical of the type of publication in the genre, that is, just a hook to get you to buy more instead of really getting to grips with the subject and laying it all out for the readers ultimate satisfaction and benefit.

The 7 day Ebook itself, is a classic example of a book that has been cobbled together purely for profit and should viewed by any would be author as proof that actual book content is not important as long as the title is inviting enough to attract buyers!
The content to be honest is pretty vague and there really isn't that much for the reader to take away and apply. The book lacks links to resources that can help the reader prepare, market and publish an ebook.
If the book is analysed as a whole, it can be seen that it comprises a few sections of high level material on the subject, and then the rest of the book is padded out to 100+ pages by including a number of "expert" interviews which for me did not add value.
Have a look around there must be good alternatives out there?

I had done a lot of research into ebook creation and publishing and was still to be honest pretty much in the dark. I found this book on amazon and decided to buy it. I wish i had found this one weeks a go! A practical and concise approach by the author who clearly knows what he is talking about. He has written and sold a ton of ebooks and shows you the main pitfalls to avoid. This information on its own was worth the money.
I was most impressed by how simple this can really be and inspired me to go away immediatley and implement the strategies and road map that was so clearly laid out in the book. I can strongly recommend this to any aspiring writer on any topic. Worth every penny. Thank you!
