This is my 3-month old son's favourite book. It was given to us as a gift and I have been reading it to him since he was 2 weeks old. From seven weeks he was concentrating on the pages, and from ten cooing at every page and kicking his legs in excitement. We now have to read it at least twice a day. It really is lovely - very bright and colourful, with sweet pictures and a wonderful pop-up page of butterflies at the end. I don't usually review books on Amazon but felt that I had to recommend this so that other people would get as much enjoyment as we do.

This is an excellent book to get your under threes to be interested in books.
The story line is not to long ans soon becomes familiar to them. The happy caterpillers are raised from the pages and as the storey counts down from 10 to 1 the magically and very cleverly dissappear.
And the pop up butterflies at the end are a real treat for children.
The book is lovingly illustrated and colourful.
My son has enjoyed this book from 18 months to over 3 now and still gets excited as the storey counts down from 10 to 1 to the butterflies.

My son is 3 months old and absolutely loves this book. In fact he gets annoyed if I try to read him anything else at bedtime! Bright colours, good length of story for young children and good pace to the rhymes. All in all a very good book.

Such a lovely book!
