The author loves wrestling and followed his dream to be involved in the business. Genetics prevented him being an actual in-ring performer so he tried his hand at being a promoter/reporter. This is the story of his career so far.
I found the book to be a quick and easy read, it was enjoyable to a certain extent.
The thing that bugged me is that the author tended to lay blame on regular occasions on others. Some of the blame appears to be warranted while other parts of it could/should have been prevented if the author himself had been more proactive and actually followed up on what other people had been doing.
A case in point is where a wrestling event had been organised and on the day of the event, the author arrives to find that his co-promoter had booked a venue that was totally inappropriate. Now I can understand the frustrations of the author but these sort of matters need to be looked at by you, don't rely on others to do the correct thing unless you know that they are capable and have proven themselves to be competent.
All in all, an ok read.
