5.0 out of 5 stars wounds and lacerations- emergency care and closure., 27 Jun 2002
By lana e plowright (mansfield, notts United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This is a superb book. As an Emergency Nurse practitioner involved daily with wound care, and as person who is involved with teaching wound closure, the information in it has proved invaluable.
the concise, but informative text and the beautifully simple diagrams make light work of explaining many of the problems involved with this speciality, and lend themselves to use in the teaching environment.
I have yet to find a book which has had so much RELEVENT information without the usual page filling waffle, as this one.
cant say enough positive things about it. If you are a senior E.R nurse, or teach wound closure, this book is a must. The only down side is that I felt it was a little expensive {obviously paying for the huge amount of info it contains}. would be better if a paperback version were on offer.
