I really enjoyed reading this book, it told me lots about the Land Army and the women who worked there. They tell their stories in an interesting way and the author has spent a lot of time researching this book. Highly recommended for anyone who was in the Land Army or for anyone interested in knowing more about the experiences of those who were.

Stuart has written a very informative book on the life of the land girls in the 2nd world war, it brought all the stories my Mother used to tell me to life, and my Mother's photo is in the book so of course that makes it more special to me.
