Book Description

Mr. Barker is a person who represents clients and Attorneys in
business and personal matters when moving to the state of Florida in the
USA from the UK.

Through experience and hard work, Mr. Barker has gained a high level of
proficiency and depth in business, immigration and personal matters. Put
simply, this translates into a high knowledge of how to live and work in
Florida. This skill gives him the ability to transform a client's
requirements into a logical plan to meet the client's needs. Frequently Mr.
Barker is called in to advise, or to assist, after an individual or
employer has encountered difficulty with living and working in Florida..

Mr. Barker has developed a special interest in immigration cases involving
people from the UK and having made the move from England with his family in
1996, has the experience and information which will help you through the

From the Publisher

This book offers an eye-opening view of the immigration
process from England to Florida, Graham Barker, who had owned and operated
a computer Installation company in the United Kingdom, found that it took a
lot more than desire to bring him, his wife and two daughters permanently
to the land of Sunshine and Mickey Mouse.

After many years of Florida Holidays the Barkers' decision to leave the
U.K. is followed in the book, how Graham quickly secures his Florida
employment, then rushes home to sell his residence and business.
Unfortunately, he discovers it will take over a year and several thousand
dollars before he is eligible to accept the position. The path becomes a
maze of attorneys and red tape with the Florida Immigration forms, which
leaves the Barkers wondering if their dream move to Florida will ever come
to fruition. It finally does, but the confusion doesn't end there. The book
of what to do and what not to do in the Florida Immigration process is not
only informative, but also an enthralling story about what great lengths
one family goes to realize its dreams even with the mountain of Florida
Immigration forms needed to become a Florida resident in the United States
of America.

Yes there is an awful lot of Red Tape but Mr Barker touched all the bases......An excellent little book for anyone thinking of moving to the Sunshine State.
