    5.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Conclusion 13 Dec. 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Must read Accidentially On Purpose and Worthy of Redemption first, if you haven't then don't read this review!

The final book in the Accidentally On Purpose series, told from Lukes POV.
So I'm the first to admit that I am a massive Kyle Sterling fan, despite what he did to Emmy, and because of my favoritism towards Kyle i just never really jelled with Luke. It was partly to do with the fact that I hoped Kyle could sort himself out and be the man for Emmy and partly because of his behavior towards Emmy in the second part of Accidentally On Purpose, I know he was heartbroken and she had hidden Lucas from him, but as she said she was a shattered vase that nobody would want, and I just felt that Luke had contributed to Emmy feeling that way.
Whilst Worthy Of Redemption gave us a further insight into Luke and Emmy's relationship, I was so pleased to get Lukes side of the Story.
The book fills in the gaps that Accidentally on Purpose and Worthy Of Redemption omitted, namely Lukes side of the story.
The book follows on with what we have pretty much learned already, starting out with Emmy reaching out to Luke so he can be a father to his son Lucas, but it gives us greater insight into Lukes feelings and interestingly how he actually didn't completely give up on Emmy after he left her, how he had gone to her but easily gave up the fight after seeing her with Kyle.
We learn about Lukes 'booty call' with Claire, and the subsequent consequences that caused, we learn about his first meeting with Emmy, we learn about Emmys nightmares and how Luke calmed her, we learn how Emmy and Luke reconnect but we always learn about the kiss with Iris that nearly broke Emmy all over again.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favourite of the series! 13 Dec. 2013

Worth The Fight (Accidentally on Purpose #3) by LD Davis

    5 stars!!

"We saved each other. We fought for each other and our lives together. We are worth the fight."

This is the third and final book of the Accidentally on Purpose series and you must have read the others before reading Worth The Fight.

I have absolutely loved this series, when I saw that we were getting Luke's POV I was super excited but then I was also super nervous. I was worried that it would be drawn out and it would be just a re-hash of book 1, but we got so much more in Worth The Fight, I also have to say that this is my favourite one of the series. Luke Kessler, who would have thought it!! Sexy, handsome, gorgeous, amazing father, attentive lover (eventually), alpha when needed, very well endowed, passionate, protective, provider but most of all extremely understanding! He was nigh on perfect!

We know what happened with Emmy and Luke and what they went through to be together. I must admit I was surprised in Accidentally on Purpose when Luke took her back, I thought to myself at the time, that he must have really loved her to forgive and forget...well, maybe not forget, but definitely forgive.

In Worth The Fight we get to see what actually happened when Emmy went back to Luke and let me tell you it was not pretty. It was at this point I could have actually throttled Luke, whilst I could understand his hurt and indifference to "the mother of his child" it was his idea for her to move in so that they could raise Lucas together, so I felt that he should have at least been civil, but alas no, he treated Emmy with disdain, basically ignoring her existence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely amazing series!! 24 Dec. 2013

You must read books 1 and 2 before Worth the Fight to understand the storyline in full.

What an amazing finish to the best triology I have read in a long time! I was always a Kyle Sterling fan even after what he did to Emmy. But not now!! Holy moses, Luke Kessler is now my number one book boyfriend! Where do you start.......he truly loves Emmy and after he gets over his initial phase of being a complete and utter pig, he then sets out to fight for Emmy and his family. This whole story is so well written, I can't wait for the spin off series. Well done L D Davis. This book is worth so much more than 5 stars and I wish I could give it more.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Truly amazing !! 20 Dec. 2013
    By BevR
    Format:Kindle Edition
The story picks up a little over a year that Luke finished with Emmy and moved back home, where he finds out that he is a father to Lucas. He is shocked, hurt and very angry and lashes out at Emmy at every opportunity.

Emmy is broken and scarred and lost all confidence and self respect following the horrific beating she received from Kyle whilst still pregnant with Lucas, and is a depressed shadow of her former self. Now then, the first 20% of the book I did NOT like Luke, in fact I think I detested him. He was so cruel and aggressive to Emmy (I can sort of understand why he acted like he did but man he took being a dick of epic proportions to. The. Extreme). This pushed her to withdraw deeper into herself and the depression until she was a virtual automaton around Luke.

"This Emmy was wilted, all the zap gone out of her.

If she was already damaged before she came to Chicago, I had to hold myself responsible for adding the ice that finally snuffed out the flame she once had."

L.D. Davis built their relationship slowly over many months, and I liked that. It would not have sat comfortably with me if they got the old "insta love" back on. By this slow build relationship I got to see Luke softening in his wretched cruelty towards Emmy and slowly the old Emmy start to peek through. I got to see Luke start to understand and accept the error of his ways and really have to work to win her back.

When he realised he still loved her and couldn't be apart from her

"I never intended to go more than a day without Emmy again. Wherever she needed or wanted to go, I would follow ..... They were my definition of home. They were where my heart was. Without them I am homeless, hopeless and hardly worth breathing.
