Synopsis

Series 1 and 2 of "The Worst Week of my LIfe" charts the misadventures of disaster-prone Howard Steele as he prepares to tie the knot with fiancée Mel, move into a new home, and become a father.

Series 1: Getting married should be the best experience of your life, but for publisher Howard Steel, it becomes a nightmare of gargantuan proportions. Everything that possibly could go wrong, does, and unfortunately for Howard, most of this transpires because of his utmost attempts to do the right thing.
Series 2: In series two Howard and Mel, now married, have a baby on the way. Unsurprisingly things are far from smooth going and Howard manages to make the Cook family hate him even more!

Both these series were brilliant. Really funny and also really cringeworthy - like so much British comedy. Nothing Howard does is ever right and you feel sorry for him and his long suffering wife. I'm really glad they've done a boxset of these two series - can't wait to get my hands on it.

This series is without doubt one of the funniest new comedy's from the BBC in years. It charts the disaster prone Howard Steele played by Ben Miller as he wreaks havoc all around him. But he is well meaning if not weak willed so he gets in all sorts of scrapes with his poor fiance Mel. Just like Frank Spencer of some thirty odd years previously he tries to do things for people but it always ends in disaster. Mel played by 'Coupling' star Samantha Alexander still loves Howard dispite his accident prone nature. Her well off Mother and Father who despise him also fall victim as does there large mansion house. Of the DVD there are some cast interviews which just add to this brilliant set.

One of the funniest comedies ever. Alison Steadman is superb as the mother in law. cant wait for Worst xmas to be released. shame there is not going to be a third series.
