Not bad, but I can't see them getting anywhere,

The Ballad of Franny Lee is one of the most beautiful songs ever, but music is not really the point of this - it's basically just hilariously funny, everytime you hear it. I can't believe Marc Riley used to sing in his own band - it must have been his looks that took him to the top. If you're a Mark and Lard fan, buy this.

Cracking comedy - utterly hilarious!!,
This review is from: Worst Album in the World Ever...Ever (Audio CD)
I'll be brief - I'm sure the reader realises, by scanning the song titles, that this is a parody album. It does what it sets out to do brilliantly, parodying the original music by altering the style, and giving it comic lyrics that in some cases are realted to the original song, in others related to the a news story of some description, and sometimes just to be funny. Absolutely brilliant and not to be missed - the first time I heard it I couldn't stop laughing!!

Makes you laugh out loud no matter what mood you're in,

This CD is a must for all lovers of Mark & Lards humour. If you take their afternoon show but remove any daytime restrictions this is them at their worst! I laughed the first time I heard it and haven't stopped. It has had the added bonus of making me snigger whenever I hear the 'real' versions of the songs. Edwin Collins came on the other day and I couldn't resist greeting my wife with a 'HIYA' all the way through. Truly one of the great albums of the past ten years
