Review

"...the ONLY decent tourism geography text on the market."
Professor Susan Ryan, California University of Pennsylvania

This is an excellent required text for any undergraduate tourism geography course and an essential reference for tourism geographers at the graduate level. The structure of the text allows for those new to tourism studies, geography or tourism geography to quickly survey essential concepts before moving onto the regional tourism geography section. The book covers every country in the world and offers detail from a supply and demand pespective.- Susan Ryan, Department of Earth Sciences, California University of Pennsylvania, California, Pennsylvania, USA

5.0 out of 5 stars Worldwide Destinations, 10 Oct 2007
By Jean A. Nash - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Worldwide Destinations: The geography of travel and tourism (Paperback)
The instructor at the local community college recommended this title to students taking a travel and tourism class. The title was not in stock at the college bookstore, so our friend asked if I could locate a copy for her. I turned to Amazon. Your price beat all others and the book arrived ahead of the promised time! The book is being used constantly as a resource book by the friend. Thanks.
