Don't be fooled by the photograhs.
The large template has two geared holes - both the same size.
This means they both make the same patterns - not much creativity there!
The six gear wheels are two sets of three, yes there are really only 3 diffent sizes.
What this really means is, you are getting two different sized external rings and
three different sized external rings, not quite what the photo alludes to.
Also, the whole thing is quite small - hence the price perhaps.
All in all not inpressed.
What's happened to the original Spirograph?

I like the fact that it's contained in a tin, but it's rather fiddly and difficult to operate for small children. Not as good as the old Spirograph but still very good value and I would buy another if I couldn't get hold of the real McCoy.
