A terrific story!! 23 Oct 2008
By Ronald Cohen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This is a terrific history of Folkways Records, an amazing company that is still in business as Smithsonian Folkways. The text and numerous illustrations give an overview of the highly influential record company that Moe Asch oversaw for four decades. This is highly recommended for anyone interested in the history of recorded sound in the 20th century.
