Product Description

Product Description

Did you know that snails can sleep for three years without eating? Or that the average four-year-old asks over 400 questions a day? The Useless Information Society was formed by some of Britain's best-loved journalists, who meet regularly to swap new nuggets of trivia. This is the third collection of their incredible, fascinating, and utterly trivial findings. Each page is packed with off-the-wall, mind boggling facts guaranteed to amuse and delight in equal measure.

About the Author

The Useless Information Society is a group of journalists, TV personalities and other assorted oddbods who meet twice a year to get enormously drunk and swap - you guessed it - useless information...

Fantastic if you're a Trivia Writer 15 Feb 2008
By Alisa M. Stewart - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I run a trivia company here in beautiful Portland, Oregon. I am always on the hunt for reference materials to craft wonderful questions for my local pub quizzes. I found this book to be extremely helpful in getting my weekly quizzes done. I highly recommend this to anyone who has as big a trivia collection as I do!

Amusing 29 Sep 2008
By Mikazuki Tsukino - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I love these books. The information is completely pointless, which makes it funny. Plus, there are facts in there that I never would have though to find out. So overall, it's just fun.
