I've only had this book a few days but I'm a bit disappointed in its content. There's a mix of classical music (European and American) and some easy listening songs (with quite a lot of US music from the last two centuries). But nothing I've tried from the book, yet, has really grabbed my enthusiasm.

I think the problem here is that the songs in this book weren't originally written (in most cases, anyway) for the Accordion. This is just my opinion but I just don't think that most of the songs in this book translate very well to the Accordion.

The music is clear and easy to read. And as one other reviewer has pointed out not all the pieces in this book are "easy to play". I wonder if some might have been made easier if they'd been transposed to an easier key.

Anyway, here's the music list if you're wondering what you're getting with this book (since it's not in the product details):

Define easy. As a beginner, I didn't find many easy to play.
A good selection though, look forward to playing them with more experience.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the range variety and arrangements of these pieces. Some excellent stuff - not too difficult but not too easy either. Good for entertainment and for family fun.

It arrived very quickly and was in excellent condition as it was purchased "used". I find it a bit difficult for a beginner, although with practice I am managing some of the pieces. I would say it was more intermediate level that easy to play.

There are not many pieces suitable for a beginner. There are some pieces with two flats and two with three flats for a start. The script is a little smaller than I would have liked. I would say the pieces range from grade 1 to 3.
Selection on front cover details examples such as Andante Cantabile,Ave Maria,Care Noma, None but the lonely heart, Peter and the wolf, romanaian rahpsody, red river valley, sabre dance, the glow worm, the star spamngled banner,to a wild rose, washington post march . There is also love's dream, habenara, santa lucia, polka, fifth nocturne, dance of the candy fairy!
I have looked quite extensively for accordion music for the beginner and it is hard to find! If anyone has suggestions I would be glad to hear them.
