5.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable tool for travel 27 Nov 2001
By The Belgo - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
As a frequent traveler, I find this book to be the most useful book I've ever bought. This book gives information on most cities worldwide one might visit, on the climate to expect for a given month. It reports not only on average highs and lows, but also average rainfall volume, amount of sunshine to expect, and degree of discomfort from heat, taking into account humidity factors. Vacationers can use it to pick a good city or island to visit for any given month, minimizing the chance they'll be bothered by rain or uncomfortable temperatures. Business travelers can use it to know what clothes to bring and whether to bring an umbrella. Don't plan a trip without consulting it!
5.0 out of 5 stars Don't go anywhere without consulting this guide 24 Mar 2012
By Vivienne - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
After more than 10 years consulting this guide before travelling anywhere, I wanted to update it only to find that there is not a more up to date issue. I am amazed to find that there isn't a queue of millions of people waiting for this next issue. This is one of the most useful reference books for any traveller to any destination even if it is now some 12 years since publication.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful guide 29 Aug 2010
By Richard - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Very useful book for travellers. I base my chioce of destination and selection of clothing to take with me in my backpack mainly on this guide. Why is it so useful: not only gives this guide the average min/max temp and average rain, but it also gives the high/low records and number of rain days per month.

It's a must have for backpackers (more accurate than Lonely Planet weather sections)
