This is little more than a collection of photographs with scant information on the subject. The author though knowledgeable made no attempt to be exhaustive and individual entries on each of the vehicles mentioned are telegraphic.
The book is strongly biased towards American and British vehicles, with a few Germans, others are practically ignored. Contemporary colour photos of recovered vehicles add little to the overall value, but worst of all is the absence of an index.
Overall the book may slightly appeal to those interested in good photographs of some WWII American and British transport vehicles. Others will be better served searching the internet.
