Product Description

Product Description

"It had been over seven decades since the world had been officially at war. But
2017 was that modern moment where the forces of good, would again need to
ally themselves to combat the forces of evil. And so it was, the United States and
her Allies would do battle with the nation of North Korea.
But this time, there was a twist.
While the battlefields on the Korean peninsula were filled with the sights and
sounds of modern militaries going toe-to-toe, much of the war was taking place
on America’s streets."

3.0 out of 5 stars a decent read 11 Sep 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Downloaded this to read after it coming up in my recommendations. It never really had me riveted to my book, straining to stay awake to find out what happens, but it kept me entertained.

I liked the use of believable near future technology. There were a few decent twists and turns to the plot but it lacked depth in places, some characters were under developed and the author could've made more of some elements. I'm also left with possibly a couple of unanswered questions.

3.0 out of 5 stars Incorrectly titled. 19 Sep 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Hardly World War III, a more accurate title should have been Korean War II. Not too bad a scenario, some depth in characterisation but other characters with little or no depth. A so so ending which desperately needed a more fulsome epilogue. Once again downloading marred by an annoying amount of typos.and punctuation errors . It's about time better proof reading was employed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and thought provoking. 11 Aug 2014

Enjoyable story about how a future war could be fought and won between America and North Korea.
It also encapsulates the potential of unmanned drones securing our safety and explores America's gun laws.
Worth a read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Flawed but good reading 7 Aug 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
OK the plot has more than a few holes in it but it is a well constructed story that I really enjoyed. Good characters and action sequences make it easy reading so ignore the flaws and enjoy.
