In this pack you get two sets of playing cards and a book the book. The book is the only thing worth while in the package, the cards are waste of time.

The book is titled 'WPT - Official poker rules'. I have several poker rules books, and this 'WPT' version is the worst I have ever seen. If want a book of poker rules don't buy this one!

If you are buying this because of the WPT logo and you think that this will guarantee you a solid introduction to the game, think again.
The "Rules" book that comes with this set is woefully inadequate and only serves to confuse the beginner with its illogical layout and terribly written prose.
It's claim to teach you "over 100 different types of poker game" is also very wide of the mark, with a confusing introduction to some (but not all) of the rules found common to most games and then a few lines of text which barely describe what rule modifiers occur in the different variations. Needless to say this utter lack of detail also completely counts it out as a resource for seasoned Poker players who would like to use it as a reference guide.
There is some other incomplete and extraneous information thrown in for good measure but to be frank, the quality of the content on top of the fact that the book itself is a thin cheap-o paperback simply show the whole thing up to be a complete waste of money.
The cards are ok but because they contain the WPT logo on each back exclusively, when playing you'll find that some logos will always be upside down and this doesn't look very professional. The cards are *not* red and blue backed as listed in the description - that kind of WPT is the one used in actual WPT games and looks pretty good. Sadly, that kind of card is not included in this pack.
Overall, this is a real disappointment. Save yourself the hassle of returning this item and look for a good beginners book ("Playing Poker To Win" - ISBN-10: 1845281055 - is considered to be one of the best) and some good cards (a Waddingtons No. 1 Poker Deck is positively luxuriant, but any deck will do, to be honest!) separately. That's definitely the way to go.
Don't pay for the logo, buy smart instead. You know it makes sense. ;-)
