All i can say about this little collection,is that it is a MUST, it MUST be introduced to every living child (who speaks English of course) A real marvel to own, innocent and fun little tales of little animals getting up to no good, but so finely tasted, classically written, It's as if you are reading in the times of the late 18th century, the language adds the old rustic humour.
This collection is both for the young old and in-between,

Very small indeed 30 Jan 2010

The stories of course, are classic and delightful to read. However, it really is "miniature". I have excellent eyesight, but the print is so small it hurt my eyes. I should've got the bigger books I think - and/or the Peter Rabbit Little Library.

This was a lovely little present for a new arrival. The timeless stories are great for all ages of children and unlike some of the characters around these days, don't annoy or irritate the adult!Vey small writing though so if you wear glasses you will need them. My daughter (18months) loves hers and likes putting them in and out of the box and looking at the pictures.
