I had never heard of Peter Gordon before seeing this recipe book, now I wish I'd know of this book a long time ago. The recipes are innovative and refreshing without being poncey or over the top. It's packed full of the fusion cooking so renowned in the Antipodes and I'm so glad it's made its way over here. I love traditional British cooking, don't get me wrong, but this book will open our eyes to whole new combinations of ingredients. The section on pasta and noodles is fabulous, Italian based recipes with an Oriental influence. The other great thing about this book it it's ease of use; the recipes are simple, easy to follow and completely delicious. I can't recommend this book enough - go buy it!
