The book is Hardbacked A4 size and has 189 pages. The book is categorised into 4 main parts
Part 1 - Formula One All Time Records (Drivers, Constructors, Tracks)
Part 2 - Legendary Drivers (Schumacher, Prost, Senna, Mansell, Stewart, Clark, Lauda, Fangio, Piquet, D Hill)
Part 3 - Famous Teams (Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Lotus, Brabham, Renault, Benetton, Tyrell, BRM, Cooper)
Part 4 - Major Tracks (Monza, Monaco, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, Nurburgring, Montreal, Zandvoort, Imola, Interlagos, Hockenheim)
Statistics (Several pages with all the key stat tables in one place)
The majority of the statistics are uptodate to the beginning of the 2011 season. This is a bit of a shame as Vettel has smashed so many records in the 2011 season but then a printed record book will always be soon out of date.
That apart this is a great book for all ages, as the image previews show, the book is full of pictures new and old (some from 2011 season) and presents the stats in easy to read bite sized chunks. I would say though that this book would be best for those interested in Grand Prix history, there is a lot of interesting information on historic drivers, tracks, and teams.
If you are looking for a book focused of the current 12 teams and the most recent championships, this is not for you. If though you want to immerse yourself in the history of Formula one, the stats, records and interesting anecdotes then this is a must have!
