Not at all impressed with this toy and neither was my 11 year old. The team strips are so out of date as are the football facts, yes there should be the old greats but some modern players would go down well with the younger children who this toy is after all aimed at.

Fancy getting your kids away from the tv or games consol and expanding their minds, then maybe this is just the gift for you! As an engineer I love knowing how things work, why they do this, do that etc, but sometimes, just sometimes something comes along where you are just content to know that 'it does'. This cube, along with many similar ones, has a variety of opening and closing combinations, these all allow you to glimpse a small piece of football history. Changing the combination however doesnt always mean that you continue reading the same article so not only does it give you world cup soccer history but also expands the mind or drives you potty, either of which is better than sitting in front of the TV and becoming 'brain dead'. Go on give it a go, its not expensive so maybe it will make the school hols easier to bear.

I bought this for my 10 year old son who loves football and is really interested in facts and statistics about football. He loves this - it is a real hit! The novelty of this toy is that he can turn the sections of the cube to make a new shape or cube which shows you different World Cup teams and gives you lots of info about them. So you get more than just 6 sides-worth of info!!! How the cube is manipulated is simple, but very effective. I would definitely recommend this to others......World Football Cube (8 - 108 years)
