An arena-ful of fans loved every second of My World, a 68-minute concert (recorded in May 2003 in Buffalo, New York) by the then-18-year-old pop sensation Avril Lavigne. And while the singer's charms may elude anyone older than, say, 25, that won't stop the sk8er boyz 'n' gurlz who bought her Let Go album by the millions from digging this as well. Fact is, Lavigne's rather tuneless, sometimes off-key singing isn't her strong suit. And her songwriting... well, Lennon and McCartney, or even the Go-Go's, are in no danger. But she isn't without talent, and she's got attitude to spare (even if that 'tude has a certain MTV-style lack of conviction or insight). Combine that with the loud, crunching guitars, the anthemic, driving choruses of Lavigne's songs, and tons of bonus features (including a six-song, audio-only CD), and you've got more than enough to keep the kids satisfied. This dvd is shows Avril's 'Try to shut me up' tour and comes with a bonous cd with live tracks: 'fuel' 'basketcase' 'unwanted' 'skater boi' 'knocking on heavens door' and 'why.' The dvd is great and a must for every fan! The best music dvd ive seen! This shows Avril on - stage, and takes a look at her backstage. Go and buy the dvd now and see for yourself. FAB!!! 10/10!!!!!!

I bought this DVD-CD combo on the first day it came out and it had not failed my expectation. The Buffalo concert featured in the DVD does not only show Avril's talent in singing but also how well she can perform live. I went to her concert in Melbourne Australia and it was only a little bit different from the featured concert, which helps me to re-live the experience.
Apart from the must-see concert, "Avril's Cut" documentary is really the main thing which is in the DVD. I loved it very much as we get to see Avril backstage and how her life's like when she's on tour.
The CD features 4 live songs and 1 B-side song from Avril Lavigne.
I strongly recommend all the Avril fans to buy this DVD-CD combo because it is worth it.
