Louisa May Alcott stands as a great writer on the basis of Little Women alone. A book that has started so many girls off as dedicated readers even 150 years after it was written deserves plaudits, but she wrote so much more. I haven't read all her work simply because of availability and cost... at at least £3 each a whole oevre soon adds up, but when I knew I was dedicated to getting a Kindle I invested in this. It is so good. All her novels, easy to read and ready when I am in a classic mood. I will take great pleasure in re-reading a few favourites and in seeing what of her religion and views on simplicity have seeped into her other works.

Most people have heard of "Little Women" even if they have only seen the film and not read the book, this collection of 23 Louisa May Alcott books including little women is a collectors must have. Classics like these books are timeless and to have them all in one collection and absolutely free on kindle is amazing. For younger readers who shy away from the "Classics" it's a perfect opportunity to try without having to spend anything, go on you might be surprised!

It's terrific to have all the L M Alcott books especially the unobtainable ones, but there is no index! You have to do an enormous amount of guessing to find the book you want. Or of course read your way through from the beginning ...
