Student learning is supported with case studies, activities, templates and pro-formas, reflection points, references to National Occupational Standards as appropriate and suggestions for further reading. Work-based Learning and Practice Placement has been designed for students studying for Foundation Degrees in Health and Social Care. However, the book is also a valuable guide to theory and practice for all students on Health and Social Care programmes including preregistration Nursing diplomas and degrees, undergraduate Social Work degree courses, Early Years and Working with Children and Families courses. This book is suitable for those students new to the workplace and for those who are already working and studying on a part-time basis.
