Art Fry, the inventor, who brought all of us post it notes was a judge of the contest for new clever ideas. Todd Basche was a winner in that contest for his invention: wordlocks.
His combination lock works with letters rather than numbers. For those of us who are password challenged, this is a great help to our failing memories and it is easy to update your passwords changing your word combination.
Wordlock® was recently Highlighted by Peter Greenberg, Travel Editor for NBC, at the Travel Goods show and was one of the top 100 new inventions in the Invent Now America competition hosted by the PTO and QVC.
All of these locks are easily reset when you want to change your combination to a new word. This cable bike lock won't scratch your bike and the mounting bracket is included. This is a great idea and if your brain is cramped with integers having to be remembered in numerous sequences for online passwords and the like, this will give your brain a breather.
Easy to change on the fly to a real or a nonsense word.
