5.0 out of 5 stars Sparks all kinds of conversations & research 1 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase
There is a huge variety of word puzzles in this pack of 50 cards: wordsearches, anagrams, identifying parts of grammer, spellings, crosswords, etc. We home educate our 2 girls, 5 & 7 years, & these cards often lead to conversations & research in other areas, e.g. an unknown word in a wordsearch about musical instruments may lead to looking it up in a dictionary & then finding out more about it in books & on the computer, visiting a music shop, seeing if we can identify the sound in a piece of music, etc. They are also great for entertaining in the car, on holiday & when there is a group of children, only being limited by the number of dry wipe pens you have! The box comes complete with 50 cards & 1 dry wipe pen.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bought to pass the time 6 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase
Bought this for my 6 yr old son to help while away the time at some weddings we had coming up. He was really excited to see them.

I think the concept is that as you move through the numbers, the tasks get harder. This did mean he raced through the first 10 or so and then began to really struggle as I think they became a little advanced for his age, then he lost interest. In fact, once you've done the first few a few times, they become obsolete.

Bit disappointed.
