This book is Ok, but there are better books on the subject. I much prefer "A Woodworkers Guide to Joints" by Jim Kingshot, this is the book that inspired me to get into woodwork and I still go back to it.

I brought this as a gift for my partner and he loved it, full of all the joints you could ever possibly want! lets hope I see some being used in our home! Defiantly recommend this book.
