One of the famous 'WOODFORD' brand (Established in 1860), this Sterling Silver pocket watch has a mechanical movement in a traditional, half hunter case. The case is embossed with Roman numerals and has a glass at the centre so that the wearer can tell the time without having to open the watch. The movement, with its sweep second hand, can be seen through the dial, which has Roman numerals The watch is supplied with a silver albert that enables the wearer to have it attached to his waistcoat.

Ordered as a 21st birthday gift for our son - and carefully chosen for it's simplicity. Huge disappointment when the watch arrived and was entirely different from the one shown! The outer case was busily engraved not plain with just roman numerals as clearly shown in the picture. This error was due to Woodford changing the specifications and not the seller sending the wrong watch but it should not have happened...
