This item adds interest and excitment to the train set and my kids have been playing with it on a weekly basis since Xmas without getting bored. One issue however is that some of the part is not made from a solid piece of wood but the same material you get in cheap cupboards. As a result there has been some significant wear which didn't occur in the parts of the trian set made of solid wood.

A great addition to our son's wooden railway system and even Daddy likes putting it all together. It's solidly build and the colours are great, whilst it's also compatible with the track we've got, which is a mix of Brio and two independent brands.

We bought this for our two year old as something extra for his wooden track. It fitted perfectly with our existing track and he loved it. Its very durable as are other BigJig toys we have bought and will continue buying.
