This toy was a total hit and my son absolutely loves it. Wooden apart from the wheels and seems durable enough. Paint will chip off slowly when hit or dropped but then what wouldn't chip if played with so often and so robustly! Nice neat size with out being too small and perfect for little hands.

I purchased this train for my son, who is just over two years old and he loves it. He loves building track and finds doing so quite easy with the wooden system, whilst this train features regularly in most books and on TV so that he is familiar with it. Playing with these toys helps him to develop his speech, problem solving skills etc, but hopefully it is a toy that we can pass on to his children.
