Diesel 10 is a renegade diesel engine on Sodor Island with a huge amount of strength. Armed with his roof mounted claw, he seeks to disrupt the harmony of Sodor Island. Made from real wood , this durable Thomas Wooden Railway engine is suitable for children aged 2 and up. Diesel 10 features a moveable claw on his roof and comes with front and rear magnetic couplings to attach to other engines or carriages (sold separately). Another excellent quality product from the learning curve collection. This is sturdy and will take some serious knocks from a toddlers hands. My big concern when I first bought this was the "crushing, crunching claw" on the top. This has turned out not t be an issue as it is well attached and made from some kind of resin rather than the plastic it looked like in the picture. My son has given the claw a good chew and while it has teeth marks on the end of it, it is still well attached and maintained it's shape.

My son goes from loving Diesel 10, to not wanting to play with him, partly because he is a naughty engine. Fits brio track along with other Thomas trains.

Purchased this for my 3 year old grandson who is very keen on Thomas. He had the track and many trains and carriages for Christmas but desperately wanted diesel 10 hence this purchase for his birthday. The delivery was very prompt and packaging was excellent combine that with the excellent price and and a happy grandson and life could not be better.
