If your kids are Diesel 10 fans (or haters) they'll love this. It's well made, robust, colourful and really looks like Diesel 10 - and the grab thing on top extends and seems fairly chid-proof (although it doesn't rotate and the grab doesn't open).
But, like so many of the wooden railway toys, it's rather expensive (why?). And in this particular case it's not even particularly wooden - most of it is made from plastic.
And it doesn't talk! This may not seem like a serious criticism, but unfortunately our kids had already seen the Take n Play Diesel 10, and that one talks - so they weren't too impressed that this one doesn't. My advice would be to do a bit of 'market research' regarding expectations before buying this, just so you don't make the same mistake!
