Annie and Clarabel are Thomas' two faithful coaches. Given to Thomas as a reward for proving himself, Annie carries passengers while Clarabel carries both passengers and luggage. These 2 Thomas Wooden Railway carriages have been made from real wood and are suitable for children aged 2 years and up. Annie and Clarabel both feature magnetic front and rear couplings which allow them to attach to other engines or carriages like Thomas. The engines come with a character card which explains their personaility and role on Sodor. The Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway - Annie and Clarabel is a great addition to the Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway.

We bought our Grandson a basic Thomas wooden train set for his second birthday Aug 2008. That only contained only one goods wagon, and Thomas usually pulls Annie and Claribel, so these are essential coaches.
The Wooden Thomas series are relatively expensive, but seem solid. No breakages so far.
Fortunately all wooden train sets (Brio, Thomas, Big Jigs etc.) seem to be compatible and interchangeable - so unless the particular item you want is only available from one maker (like these carriages). It is possible, to shop around for the cheaper track etc.

The Thomas wooden trains are great and this Annie and Clarabel set brought great delight to my 3 year old son. Good quality, classic, durable. And great service and quick delivery.

These are nice quality and essential for the little Thomas fans to have in the set. They are quite expensive but I can see them being passed down the generations as they are mainly of wooden components which makes a nice change from all the unpleasant plastic you get in most children's toys.

Cheapest anywhere!
Thomas needs his carriages and these were the cheapest wooden ones I could find. Arrived quickly and promptly and my little boy was delighted with them!
