This ladybird swing has been a big hit with all the children I care for from the 3 year old to the 10 year old. It is fun and educational teaching children to be active. It is solid and has not faded or chipped at all. The parents of the children I care for all loved it so much that they wanted one for their garden so with each birthday I have bought one for a present.
The rope does actually get longer as the swing is used more but that is no problem.

Bought this as a present for our 5 year old daughter. When it arrived, the swing looked great. We attached it to her play frame and she loved it. Sadly we made the mistake of leaving it outside and the weather has not been kind to it. The seat has warped and split with the paint all cracked and flaking. For some reason I has assumed that this outdoor swing would have been treated and coated to ensure it would survive outdoors. This isn't the case, if you want this to last, put it up when it needs to be used and take it down and put it away when it isn't. For a swing this seems like a lot of effort and a waste of time. I think it is probably easier to just buy a different swing, probably a plastic one or a decent treated wood one.

i bought this swing for grandchildren aged 3, however they are far too small to use this and is more suited to older age range. it is not weather proof as the surface split and warped after only a few months of use. however is very sturdy with excellent safety features ie to fix to tree! would definitely buy again but wish i had known it wasn't rain proof!!!!!!!!.
