I use this daily with my Gaggia Classic for my once a day 7.00am coffee. Its a real pleasure to use with a comforting weight and solid feel. I was genuinely surprised by the difference it made compared to the plastic press that came with the Gaggia. Worth the expense for a press that I know will last longer than I will.

Solid well made and a pleasure to use. I m not sure it makes the coffee taste better but the resulting crema is good. Making espresso coffee using a Gaggia machine is a ritual and the tamper enhances the experience

This is a good quality product. It has some weight behind ensuring that coffee can be tamped without the application of too much pressure. I use a Gaggia Classic (58mm) and have found that this tamp is not quite as snug as it could be in the basket, however, the item is fine for its price.
