This is a lovely little pot but it is the size that is the problem. It is more like the size of a trinket box than your smallest saucepan. If you thought your child would be able to pretend stiring things up think again. You would be lucky to fit a normal spoon in it never mind anything else. The quality looks good but it really was not what I was expecting
