Visually - there's no mistaking the star of the show in these performances. The camera sticks to Alison G like superglued chewing gum. These aren't visually spectacular shows, so it's just as well that Alsion is so visually spectacular on her own.
Aurally - the mix is good, and Alison G is vocally flawless. The first time i watched her perform "Lovely Head" (ooer missus) with the synth-treated voice, I almost fell off my seat in amazement, whilst "Utopia" must be one of THE great vocals in pop.
Musically, aside from "Black Cherry" and "Felt Mountain", there is a clutch of fine material. "Sartorius", "Little Death", "Yes Sir" and "UK Girls" are as good as anything on the studio albums.
I think you should buy it.
