I bought this book and others on this theme, because feminists would rather the world forget what they put to print. So New Zealand was the first country to offer the vote to women at the end of the 19th century. Hmmm I wonder if that vote was conditional like the UK,ie for wealthy women who owned property and were over the age of 30? Men only got the vote in the UK because they died en mass in the trenches of WW1. Thanks General Haig. Wot price did women pay? Feminists? Anyone there? Oh yeah Jewish Prime Minister Disraeli was firmly anti and is quoted in this book.
