About the Author
Kerrie Hanafin is Managing Director of 'A Woman's Touch', a building company that employs 20 staff, 17 of whom are women. She made the decision to start the business after one particularly shoddy tiling company had visited her home. She won the NatWest Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2006, and the BT Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007. She divides her time between homes in Hampshire and Spain.

What a great manual, set out in easy to read steps accompanied with perfect pictures and marvellously handy hints for the DIY novice such as myself. I couldn't recommend a better book! I bought two, one for me one for my mum. The perfect gift for birthdays for all ages.

This is an excellent book for women who need the knowledge to have a go at diy. Whether its something simple as changing a plug or hanging a door. Step by step instructions to help you along the way. Would definately recommend this to my friends.

Excellent book for a DIY'er. Love the cover as a lot of the tools are pink snd many of the photos have women with long finger nails. Maybe it goes a bit over the top pushing the female pouint of view, but nevertheeless the contnent is good and helpful.
