Oh my goodness not sure what I would do without this book whilst studying my degree. Its not difficult to understand and would even suit GCSE level.

Contains fabulous insight into all things hats.

Line drawn pictures for each style over the centuries.

Probably my best buy for easy research.

You know you want to but you just haven't got the courage. This book will give you an idea of what not to wear. There is more to hats than baseball hats and knitted woollen boring caps. Go to a milliner and buy something that says to the world 'I am someone, remember my hat if not me!'
I have gone back to college to do a millinery course and this book is brilliant for ideas from the past. It has everything in it. Now go out and get a hat for yourself. Keep milliners in business!

It will be a very good introduction to the topic, but I did expect better quality of the drawings.
