3.0 out of 5 stars Different point of view. 29 Mar 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A first hand account by one of the fortunate to have survived the sinking. Having read a fair number of books about this disaster, including those by Col Gracie and Lawrence Beesley I didn't learn anything new per se, just a different perspective on the events. Nevertheless, it was an interesting read and serves as a memorial to those who survived and thought to wrote about their experiences.

3.0 out of 5 stars Authentic account from a survivor. 4 Jun 2012

Good but short. Although you must realise this is an account from a survivor who just wrote down what she experienced on that fateful night. I wasn't meant to be published.

3.0 out of 5 stars A much shorter book than I thought! 30 July 2014

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was rather on the short side but it was interesting all the same.
I was hoping for more information so was a little disappointed, however, the brief account was very descriptive and, although The Titanic was a terrible disaster it was quite amazing to find that the female survivors seemed to gain strength from somewhere.
I have read a few books recently about The Titanic and it in ever ceases to amaze me of the great Courage they had.
Would only recommend this to anyone who only wants a very short read, so be aware of that.
