Well, what more to say about one of the greatest childrens' TV shows ever? The faux-recycled brown cover is inspired; the sixty-plus episodes originally aired between 1973 and 1978 are just as you remember them. Picture quality is impressive given the age of the episodes and the quality of some of this DVDs peers (The Flumps is a case in point), and all-in-all it's a treat that will keep kids (and nostalgic adults) happy for a few hours. `Nuff said.

I would give the Wombles itself a 5, but this dvd is badly authored.
The episode "A Sticky Ending" is missing and they duplicated "Madame Cholet Returns".
Most of the episodes are in the wrong order, so if you click on an episode title, you get a different episode.
Very disappointing. I hope that the makers resolve this issue and replace these faulty dvds.

It's now one year since the review saying the mistakes are being rectified. They are still there on a copy I received from Amazon last week.
When your child asks for a particular episode the menu will take you to a different one. It's irritating and takes the fun out of watching.
The quality of the sound and picture is no better than the VHS tapes we own.
