Woman Of Substance, A - Barbara Taylor Bradford
This will appeal to you and anyone you recommend it to. It has something for the males and females. Jenny Seagrove portrays a woman who through will and strength turns around her position as a victim of abuse and cowards, to become a successful, powerful and stunning business woman. She battles and wins and loses. The price for her success is high and her journey is not one to be missed. Full of love, lust, drama and action. This emotional roller coaster will have you in tears of joy and sadness. It will make you think and about destiny, fate and free will. One not to be missed and best of all there are sequels ready and available to watch now.

5.0 out of 5 stars a viewer from Pakistan 30 Jan 2008
By saif
Format:DVD
Very first time I saw this unforgetable movie in Kuwait in 1996.it was recorded on VHS tapes. Believe me I saw this movie more than 100 times and every time I found it more informative, more practical, more live commentary of an innocent girl's life. It shows to us how the circumstances push us towards the fate. Emma the heroin, acts at her best and put you in tears when in troubles and sorrows. Her mission to get revenge from Adwin( her flirt lover) is a real reaction of a common woman. I advised and provided this great movie to most of my female friends and cousins to watch and get moral support from it when they fall in troubles like Emma. Now when my two daughters are quite grown up and need guidence. Unfortunately this movie is very hard to find in Pakistan. May be some day I,ll find it out and will be able to show it to my daughters. Because they are very much tired off of listening only about this movie. They need to watch it as soon as possible. I recomend to all the fathers to their daughters to buy it right now and let watch them this a piece of advice.

Know the book well and only Emma and Blackie portray their characters like they are in the book. Mst others are insipid and colorless.
