I'm not overlly fond of 'warm, witty' reads about middle aged women who get dumped by their husbands-so-they-lose-10 stone-dye their hair-and kick their-loser husbands to the curb for a hot man five years their junior, which Cathy Kelly specializes in, but "Woman to Woman" was better than your average "WW" (as I call them) and I applaud her characters, who seemed so real and more interesting than most, and a juicy (if guilty) storyline which kept me thoroughly entertained. I recommend 'someone like you' and 'she's the one' but the rest of her novels are much too similar.

My friend had told me about how much she had enjoyed Woman to Woman so I just went along and bought it. After the first few pages I found out my friend was right. This is a kind of book you could stay up and read until three in the morning. You just simply have to read this book.

I found this book very hard to put down, and became absorbed in the lives of Jo and Aisling. Jo and Aisling were likeable and believable characters, and both the storylines were interesting. Even if the plot is predictable, it is an enjoyable, relaxing read, light but not trashy. I will definitely be looking for other books by Cathy Kelly.

Underwhelming
This novel was good when it was written, but really isn't fitting in today's society. Now that divorces are so commonplace, they really aren't worthy of a story. Read more

Warm but cliche'd
Cathy Kelly creates warm, likeable characters but there really isn't anything about this book that makes it stand out from the crowd. Read more
