Aside from the two hits this is an LP that all fits together well & every song is outstanding in its own right. Gentle, affecting, warm and classic soul expertly performed.
At this price you should try this to go alongside your modern interpretations.

This album is truly wonderful, mellow and uplifting - perfect sunday morning listening. 'Teardrops' is of course a classic but the highlight for me is 'Friends'. It is a complete album that warrants a start to finish listen...BUT saying that...the entire album, every track, all though in a different order, makes up the first 9 on the greatest hits! Obviously because it was their best and most successful work + you get a few extra tracks as well including the excellent 'love wars'. So do your wallet a favour and buy that instead because it is actually cheaper.Womack & Womack: Greatest Hits
